Benevolent Aged Care Ltd operates Benevolent Living and is a regional community owned Not-For-Profit Aged Care Provider located in Rockhampton.
Benevolent Living currently operates a residential aged care facility, and is expanding into Retirement Living with a new, purpose built development which will include the implementation of an Assisted Living service model.
We are seeking two new board members who have a good understanding of the NFP Sector and who have the skills to innovate and grow our business which is undergoing significant growth and transformational change.
Our Board meets 8 times a year and has 3 Sub-Committees which provide oversight of the high risk areas in our organisation – Finance; Governance and Risk (Clinical Governance); Development and Facilities.
The positions available are non-executive voluntary positions with expenses only reimbursed.
We are looking for:
Director – Strong Clinical Governance Experience
Director – Legal Experience
Your Key Responsibilities include:
Strategic Planning
Governance & Stewardship
Compliance & Risk
Position Requirements:
Extensive experience in either the Clinical Governance or the Legal field.
Demonstrated management skills.
Experience in leadership & strategic planning.
A passion to contribute to our growth and sustainability.
Governance skills (AICD grad. highly regarded).
Knowledge or experience in the Aged Care or Retirement Living sectors will be highly regarded.
