Chairman of the Board
Robert Sims joined the board as a director and chair of the Finance and Audit committee in 2018. Robert is a CPA accountant with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and has completed a Masters of Business Administration. Robert is the Director of CatholicCare and has been with the organisation for over 15 years, serving in many roles including Corporate Services Manager and Corporate & Community Services Manager. Prior to working for CatholicCare Robert was previously employed as the Financial Accountant for Peak Downs Shire Council, he has also worked at the Rock Building Society in the Risk Department and worked at Ensham Resources. Robert has been involved in a range of community roles including Board member and then President of the Rockhampton Alzheimer’s Association from 2012- 2015.
