What's your favourite memory at Benevolent Living?
There is too many to name, working at Benevolent Living has enriched my life, I'm so glad to be part of this great environment. I love getting to know the residents and their families and trying to make a difference to their day. I have had some wonderful times, a laugh, a smile and a chat, it makes my day as I hope it does theirs. I have also made some lifelong friendships since starting work here. The longer I'm here the better it gets, what an achievement!
Do you have an interesting hobbies or talents?
Do I ever, I love to garden, sew, restore old furniture, and if I get my hands on a good book, find a comfy chair and I forget every other silly matters. I also love to cook, having a vegan daughter presents some challenges but I've come up with some delightful meals.
What's your favourite thing to do outside of work?
I have two daughters, a son and five grandsons! I love spending time with any or all of them, they are priceless. I am also known for having a chilled wine on the deck with my pals. The older I get the more I realise what a rich life I have and treasure every moment.
