Our Skype Devices are now up and running and ready to help you connect with your loved ones during this unprecedented time. All you need to do is set up your Skype Account (if you don't already have one), book an appointment time with us, and one of our staff members will help your loved one to use the device on our end.Â
How do IÂ book an appointment?Â
To ensure that all of our residents have the opportunity to Skype with their loved ones we have set up a booking system. To book a Skype Call with your loved one please email myself at communications@benevolent.com.au Bookings will be available from Monday 20th of April.Â
How long can we speak for?Â
Skype calls will be limited to 15-20 minutes to ensure residents remain engaged and get comfortable using this new form of communication.Â
What times can we call?
Available Times Are: AM Times: Monday – Thursday: 10am-11.30am PM Times: Tuesday AND Thursday: 2pm-4pm To assist staff with workloads we will try, and schedule Skype Calls in certain houses each day please provide two days and times that would suit you best when emailing to book. If you cannot make any of these times work, please contact us and we will try and work with you to find a time that suits if possible.

When will phones be available?
We have ordered cordless phones for families to call their loved ones on and we anticipate these to be ready within the week. This is a new form of communication for residents and staff to get used to so please be patient with us.Â
